this i one of my favorites stories. I've reread it many times ... and every time i read it i find something more in it. I can't help but laugh, though, since it is now mid-2104 and it was originally written mid-1990's, when they are talking about computers in the book they are talking about "ancient" technologies that i doubt that many younger readers would know about, so, in many ways, younger readers are reading a historical fiction, now ---- like floppy discs and a "gopher" (BTW, a floppy disc is an early version of a CD/DVD and a gopher was part of the program at that time ... it was an animated cartoon picture of a gopher, replaced in later Windows version by the sand-timer --- it was taken from the term of "gopher" meaning a person who would run errands ... would "go for"("go fer") things ~~~~ i miss that little gopher, i got a kick out of watching him while he would work on the commands that i gave him to do)

I got a copy of this when it came out in paperback. It's been with me many many years. Now that I'm upgrading to ebook copies I'm getting the digital version on .

This is one of my all time favorites and I re read it every year.

The characters are spunky and have great dialogue that has me laughing every time.

The plot is action packed and moves among at a great pace.
